Cav's season ends at Regionals

The Western Baseball Team ended the 2009 season at the Region XIII Tournament in Willmar, MN. The Cavs dropped the first game of the tournament to Minnesota Tech-Fergus Falls 8-7. The Cavs had a 7-2 lead going into the 8th, but they could not hold on for the win. In the second game, the Cavs lost to Northland Community and Technical College 7-2. With the two loses the Cavs fell to 13-16 on the season. Of the 13 players on the Region XIII qualifying Western Team, 10 are eligible to return for next season. With another strong recruiting class and increased numbers, the Cavs will be a Region XIII qualifier for years to come.
